Welcome
I hope you enjoy your Journey into my Creative Muse with a Vintage Flair and a few whimsical pieces in the mix. I like using Collage, Mixed Media, Clay, Paints & Embellishments with my favorite Vintage images. I like to hunt for vintage items at Antique shops and Flea Markets to collect bits and pieces to add to my work. I like the simplicity and beauty of days gone by, anything that captures that old world look. The best part of adding Vintage Flare is not only the beauty it gives but not letting the past be forgotten.
Thanks for stopping by.

I now have a small collection of these fun altered dolls... making them all unique in themselves with added vintage parts. I used a small vintage shaker and 2 small drawer knobs for this one. She stands 3 1/2 inches tall.
I will share all of them with you if I can ever stop making them long enough to take more photos! Thanks again for stopping by today! :) |

I'm so sorry to be away from my blog lately...but I'm happy to be back again to share with you another altered Charlotte. I have made her out of 2 Crystal drawer knobs, with moveable arms. She stands 3" tall this was made from an old doll head that had been buried in Germany in the early 1900's and was excavated I have cleaned her up and she looks pretty now. There is an on going desire to find these broken doll heads and create something with them....
I will be in a swap soon hosted by Terri Gordon we will be altering vintage salt & pepper shakers made from these old doll heads. That will be a swap I will be looking forward to! so stay close I will be sharing them with you!
Thanks for stopping by today :) |

My Matchbox chest for Lynn

Laura's mini matchbox swap...I have learned so much from Laura Carsons Tutorial on these adorable Chests. I'm so addicted and couldn't stop at just one...I also made another one for my partner Lynn, which I will show later.
The paper I used was K&Company one of my favorites. The drawers come out and you can put little things inside.
I added different papers on the back and painted the legs in antique silver. Thank you Laura for your awesome Tutorial. It was easy to understand and create!
Thank you everyone who have visited my blog and added such nice comments. I appreciate all of you!
Have a great day! :)

"Love Notes" Altered matchbox....send messages in altered matchbox's or add little surprises for Valentines day!
I loved creating this Valentine theme, the mini matchboxes that are very inexpensive to buy, adding little pearls for the handles to pull out and see what is hidden there. I used definitions such as "Cherish"and "Forever"
Thanks for visiting me today, have a wonderful day ...and Happy Valentines Day! :)
